Translator English-to-Chinese

PHOTON – the world’s leading photovoltaics publisher – is currently seeking a translator. Each month, »PHOTON International – The Solar Power Magazine« presents a comprehensive view of developments in the global PV industry to its large readership. In addition to the English-language version of the magazine, PHOTON publishes a Chinese edition. The successful applicant will work as a freelance translator to support our editorial team, translating articles from English to Chinese.
The applicant must be a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with outstanding English skills. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage (particularly German, French, Italian or Spanish). She/he should be based in China, Hong Kong or the Asia-Pacific area. Professional experience as a translator is required; experience translating technical articles or working as a writer for a newspaper, wire service or magazine is a plus.
