Research Assistant

PHOTON – the world’s leading photovoltaic magazine – is currently seeking a Research Assistant.

As a Research Assistant, you will compile data from PV equipment manufacturers for printing in our monthly magazine, sticking to strict editorial deadlines regarding survey completion. You will telephone PV manufacturers and research fields of operation online. You will coordinate several market surveys in parallel, working together with scientific journalists to improve surveys. Furthermore, you will research sectors to find undiscovered manufacturers, then compiling Excel tables and organizing data in detail for print.

You are an organizational talent and can work effectively under time pressure. Meticulousness comes to you naturally. You have good computer skills, particularly with Excel. Experience with editorial systems and editorial workflows are preferred, but not required.

You speak fluent English and Chinese, other languages are welcome (German) and technical background is desirable. You have good communication skills and a polite telephone manner, and are detail-orientated, determined and can multi-task with ease.
